Mrs. Lavina Mistry has received her B.Sc. (Information Technology) and MCA degrees from University of Mumbai.

She has 8 years of teaching experience and taught subjects like Data Science, User Experience Design, User Interface Lab, Mobile Computing, Soft Computing, Computer Graphics, Advanced Database Theory and Applications, Data Mining & Business Intelligence, Unified Modelling Language (UML), Soft Skills Development, Financial Accounting & Management, IT in Management.

She is also a member of the syllabus setting committees for the subjects of ADBMS theory, ADBMS Lab, Soft Skills Development for the MCA Programme of University of Mumbai.

She has published 3 research papers in international conferences and 4 papers in international journals. She has been a resource person for training programs.

She has won the Best Research Paper award in the International Conference on Internet of Things, Next generation Network & cloud computing ICINC for Data Analysis of TED Talks: Case Based Learning Approach in 2017.

Currently she is a member of ISTE.
