Women’s Day Celebration

International Women’s Day, celebrated globally on March 8, acknowledges the political, social, and economic achievements of women. To commemorate the remarkable strength, resilience, and contributions of women across various fields, a special celebration took place on March 8, 2025, at Karjat.

 NMITD Celebrates Women’s Day Celebration

On Saturday, March 8th, 2025, NMITD male staff members organized the Women’s Day Celebration at Karjat, to recognize the achievements of women while raising awareness about gender equality.

The male staff members took the initiative to organize a heartfelt and creative event to honor the women of NMITD. A creatively curated video featuring female employees was presented, showcasing their contributions and presence in the institute. Every woman was invited on stage, adorned with a crown, and presented with a special thoughtful gift as a mark of respect and recognition for their contributions. A poetic tribute was delivered by Dr. Rahul Wadekar, Assistant Professor at NMITD (MMS), with each poem resonating deeply, offering an ethereal experience for the audience.

The celebration was skilfully hosted by Dr. Rahul Wadekar, Assistant Professor at NMITD (MMS), ensuring an engaging and smooth flow of the event. Furthermore, Mr. Pritam Warke, Mr. Prakash Jadhav, and Mr. Ganesh Bhagavat shared their perspectives on the significance of Women’s Day, highlighting the importance of gender equality and acknowledging the invaluable contributions of women in various spheres.

The women expressed heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful arrangements, cherishing the moments of appreciation and recognition, acknowledging everyone’s efforts in making the event a memorable one. The event concluded on a joyous note, leaving behind treasured memories for all present.
