Founders’ Day – Celebrating Founders Day – Honoring Our Legacy, Inspiring Our Future

On 8th August 2025, the Mumbai Campus of Deccan Education Society came together to celebrate Founders Day at Kirti M. Doongursee College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous),  along with  Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development, and J. S. Kothari Business School.

The program commenced with the arrival of dignitaries, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and worship of founders’ portraits, symbolizing the enlightenment and values instilled by the founders.

Mr. Ashutosh Modak introduced the rich history and vision of the Deccan Education Society and its esteemed founders.

The audience was then introduced to the Chief Guest, Shri Vitthalrao Kamble, Karyavah, Konkan Region, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, who was warmly welcomed and felicitated by Adv. Neel Helekar, Trustee DES. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the future, urging them to go beyond academics and impart holistic knowledge that empowers students for life.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Girish Jadhav, and the soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, filling the hall with patriotic fervor.
