MMS Semester IV Orientation Programme Conducted at NMITD Mumbai | 11th February 2026
The MMS Semester IV Orientation Programme at NMITD featured an insightful session titled “Penning Down Ideas to Seminar Papers”, aimed at equipping students with essential research and academic writing skills required for their seminar papers and future professional growth.
The session was delivered by Dr. Kanwalpreet Kaur Puri, Assistant Professor at Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous). Drawing from her extensive academic experience and over 15 publications in reputed journals, Dr. Puri provided students with guidance on transforming conceptual ideas into well-structured scholarly papers.
During the session, Dr. Puri emphasized that drafting seminar papers is not merely an academic requirement but a foundational step in bridging theoretical management concepts with real-world applications. She explained how the research process nurtures analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, discipline, and professional ethics — all of which are essential attributes of successful management professionals.
