Alumni Meet 2026: Memories Revisited at NMITD

The alumni community of Deccan Education Society came together for a memorable Alumni Meet – “Memories Revisited” organized by the Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD) on 7th March 2026 at the 0.8 Auditorium, DES Mumbai Campus, Dadar. The event was a wonderful occasion for former students to reconnect with their alma mater, relive cherished memories, and engage with faculty and fellow alumni.

The programme began with a welcome session and refreshments, providing alumni with an opportunity to meet old friends and revisit their college days. This was followed by an engaging segment titled “Roobaroo”, which included fun games and interactive activities that created a lively and nostalgic atmosphere.

The formal session commenced with opening remarks by Dr. Renuka Savant, welcoming the alumni and appreciating their continued connection with the institute. This was followed by a valedictory address by Dr. Rasika Mallya, I/C Director, who highlighted the institute’s journey and the important role alumni play in shaping its future.

The event also included an interactive session with alumni, where participants shared their valuable suggestions, feedback, and professional experiences with current faculty and students.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, marking the end of a warm and meaningful gathering that strengthened the bond between the institute and its alumni community.

The Alumni Meet served as a platform for reconnecting, networking, and celebrating the enduring relationship between NMITD and its alumni, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to building a strong and vibrant alumni network.
