DES’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD) successfully hosted its Internal Hackathon 2026 on 7th September 2026, bringing together four enthusiastic student teams who transformed their innovative ideas into technology-driven solutions and presented their projects before the esteemed internal judges.

The event was conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Classroom E26, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

From creative problem-solving to technology-driven solutions, each team presented a unique idea, demonstrating the spirit of innovation, collaboration, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking. The hackathon encouraged students to think beyond conventional approaches and develop solutions addressing real-world challenges.

The event was enriched by the valuable guidance and encouragement of Dr. Rasika Mallya, Dr. Sulakshana Vispute, Dr. Swapnali Mahadik, and Mr. Ganesh Bhagwat, whose mentorship motivated the students to explore new possibilities and transform their ideas into impactful solutions.

The Internal Hackathon 2026 served as an excellent platform for students to think, build, present, collaborate, and innovate, while nurturing the entrepreneurial and technological spirit among the young innovators of NMITD.
