“People usually overestimate the change that will occur in the next two years and underestimate the change that will occur in the next ten.” – Bill Gates
“The goal of Amrit Kaal is to take India and its citizens to new heights of prosperity, ensuring that we stand as a developed nation by our 100th year of independence.” – Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi
As we step into Amrutkal—the golden era envisioned to drive India’s development over the next
25 years—the convergence of science, technology, arts, commerce, and management will play a
crucial role in shaping a future that is sustainable, inclusive, and globally competitive. Bill Gates’
observation reminds us that transformative progress often unfolds over time, with incremental
steps culminating in monumental changes. This phase represents an extraordinary opportunity to
harness multidisciplinary approaches, addressing global challenges while fostering innovation and
resilience.
DES’s Mumbai Campus presents “AMRIT KAAL: Shaping the Future: Trends and Insights
for Science, Technology, Arts, Commerce, Humanities and Management” a research
conference that provides a platform for exploring how these diverse fields can work in harmony
to create meaningful impact. The event invites scholars, professionals, and thought leaders to share insights and ideas that will guide India’s journey through Amrutkal and beyond.
The rapid pace of technological advancements, evolving socio-economic landscapes, and the
urgent need for sustainability have transformed how we approach problems and solutions. The
integration of science and technology with the arts and commerce fosters holistic thinking, while
management principles ensure the scalability and viability of innovative solutions.
