PRAYAS – E-Cell Startup Bazaar Stall Exhibition
The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of Deccan Education Society’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD), under the aegis of and the Institution’s Innovation Council, successfully organized PRAYAS – E-Cell Startup Bazaar: Stall Exhibition on 7th March 2026 at the DES Mumbai Campus.
The event aimed to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and practical business exposure among students by providing a platform to showcase their creative products and startup ideas through exhibition stalls. Students enthusiastically participated and presented their business concepts, interacting with visitors and gaining valuable real-world experience in marketing and customer engagement.
A variety of innovative and creative stalls were set up during the exhibition, including:
- Kajol Sunil Tambe – Cheesecakes and Indian sweets (Ladoos)
- Neha Rane – Handmade Jewellery
- Sanskruti Suryavanshi – Bombolonies, Donuts and Cupcakes
- Gauri Khadpe – Bakery and Pastry Products
- Gayatri Babu Kandarkar – Fabric Jewellery
- Sumitra Jain – Pipe Cleaner Flowers
- Snehal Jain – Press-on Nails
- Laxmi Kamble – Varieties of Samosa
- Ayush Choudhary – Printable T-Shirts (Product Marketing)
Each stall demonstrated the creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and business acumen of the participants, attracting the attention of students, faculty members, and visitors across the campus.
The Startup Bazaar created an energetic and engaging environment, encouraging students to explore entrepreneurship while learning about product presentation, pricing strategies, and customer interaction.
The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation, making PRAYAS a meaningful initiative in strengthening the startup and innovation culture at NMITD.
