Guest Session on Entrepreneurship and Startups Conducted Successfully
Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development (NMITD), under the aegis of Deccan Education Society, successfully organized an insightful guest session on Entrepreneurship and Startups on 10th April 2026 at the 0.8 Auditorium.
The session was delivered by esteemed industry expert Ninad Karpe, Chairman of the CII WR Sub-Committee on Start-ups and Founder of Karpe Diem Ventures. With his vast experience in the startup ecosystem, he provided valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey, innovation strategies, and the evolving startup landscape in India.
The session, held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. Mr. Karpe shared real-world experiences, challenges faced by entrepreneurs, and practical guidance on building and scaling startups. To enhance learning and engagement, real-world video clips were showcased throughout the presentation, helping students better understand practical scenarios and industry dynamics.
An interactive Q&A segment allowed students to engage directly with the speaker, making the session highly enriching and inspiring. The event aimed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking among students and encourage them to explore startup opportunities.
