Library Workshop: Integrating AI Tools in Academic Research

DES’s NMITD & JS Kothari Business School Successfully Organize 9th One-Day Workshop on Integrating AI Tools in Academic Research.

The Library Department and IQAC of DES’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD) and JS Kothari Business School, in association with the University of Mumbai, successfully organized the 9th One-Day Workshop on “Integrating AI Tools in Academic Research” on 12 June 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators, researchers, librarians, and students, creating an engaging platform to explore the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence in academic research and scholarly practices.

The event featured insightful expert sessions on:

  • Use of AI in Research: Challenges, Ethics, and Opportunities
  • Exploring AI Tools for Qualitative Research Methods
  • Exploring AI Tools for Academic Research Writing

The workshop was enriched by the valuable guidance and expertise shared by distinguished resource persons:

The workshop emphasized responsible and ethical use of AI tools while highlighting opportunities to enhance research productivity and academic excellence.
