Dr. Ruchi Gupta is an accomplished academician with over 18 years of teaching experience in Computer Science and Information Technology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, with research focused on load distribution algorithms in distributed processing systems. She also possesses an M.Phil. in Computer Science, along with MCA and BCA degrees.

Her academic and research interests include Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Operating Systems, Real-Time Systems, Computer Networks, and Educational Data Mining. She is committed to promoting outcome-based education through innovative teaching methodologies, case-based learning, project-based instruction, and the integration of emerging technologies into the curriculum.

Dr. Gupta teaches a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Research Methodology, Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing, Advanced Java, Linux Server Administration, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Advanced Database Management Systems, Data Structures, UI/UX Design, Ethical Hacking, Security in Computing, and Management Information Systems.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she actively contributes to institutional development through her involvement in academic administration. She serves on several committees, including the Examination Committee, Admission Committee, ERP Committee, IQAC, Conference and FDP Committee, and also contributes as a Book Editor for institutional publications.

Dr. Gupta has made significant scholarly contributions through 11+ research publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, including Springer, IEEE, Scopus-indexed, and UGC CARE-listed publications. Her research spans distributed computing, cybersecurity, educational data mining, cloud security, and artificial intelligence applications.

Recognized for her academic expertise, Dr. Gupta serves as a reviewer for national and international conferences and has delivered invited lectures and expert sessions on topics including Machine Learning, Core Java, Cyber Security, Google Workspace, and Digital Banking Security. She has also organized faculty development programmes, workshops, research paper competitions, and academic events that encourage research and innovation among students and faculty members.

She has been appointed by the University of Mumbai as a Paper Setter, Moderator, Practical Examiner, Translator, and Course Writer for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She has contributed self-learning material for the MCA programme in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and has prepared examination papers in areas such as Ethical Hacking, Advanced Java, User Interface, Cyber Forensics, Offensive Security, Mobile Computing, and Research Methodology.

Her technical expertise includes C, C++, Core Java, Advanced Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, Kali Linux, AWS, Azure, MATLAB, and Boson NetSim.
