Assistant Professor – MCA
He has an academic experience of 10 years, and industry experience of around 6 years . In industry he has worked as Enterprise Software Engineer at a couple of software product companies, mainly working with Enterprise Java Technologies . He started his industry career as a 1-year Project Trainee at CDAC Mumbai from 2005 to 2006. There he successfully completed the task of rebuilding CDAC’s existing expert system shell known as Vidwan using portable Java Web Technologies . The project was known as Vidwan on Web.
From 2007 up to 2010 he was a part of core product development team of Verchaska Infotech at Vashi working on Enterprise Java Technologies. There he was responsible for development of new features for their desktop based product known as Fare Engine and web-based Travel Booking Engine known as Provisio.
His last industry stint was in Zycus Infotech, Andheri Seepz, as a core member of their product development team working on Spend Management software product suites. He was a senior developer responsible for development of maintenance and development of features in their Spend Information Systems product.
He left industry in 2012 as a Senior Software Engineer to pursue his passion in academics. For one year he was at N.G Acharya & D.K Marathe college as Assistant Professor in CS/IT department. While there he taught Advanced Java, Network Security and Operating Systems. Since 2013 till date he is with DES’ NMITD working as Assistant Professor at MCA Dept. Over the years he has taught various Computer Science and Information Technology subjects which includes: Simulation Modelling, Enterprise JAVA, Computer Organization & Architecture (COA), Information Security, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
He is currently pursuing his PhD from University Department of Computer Science (UDCS) of University of Mumbai. His research interest lies in the challenging area of engineering Human-like Language Endowed AI Agents.
