Parent–Teacher Meeting for MCA First- and Second-Year Students – 20th September 2025
Deccan Education Society’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD) successfully organized the Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTA) for Second Year students in the morning session and First Year students in the afternoon session on 20th September 2025 at the 0.8 Auditorium, NMITD.
The sessions aimed at strengthening communication between parents, teachers, and the institution while sharing key academic, placement, and administrative updates.
Highlights of the Second Year PTA (Morning Session):
- Welcome Address by Dr. Girish Jadhav
- Director’s Address by Dr. Rasika Mallya, In charge Director, NMITD
- Address on MOOCs, ISR, and Semester IV Projects by Dr. Sulakshana Vispute, HoD MCA department and Dr. Rahul Wadekar, HoD MMS department
- Placement Talk by the Placement Committee (Dr. Girish Jadhav, Mrs. Monisa Rodrigues, Dr. Ruchi Gupta)
- Interaction with faculty members of MCA and MMS Departments
- Interactive Question–Answer session with parents

- Director’s Address by Dr. Rasika Mallya, In charge Director, NMITD
- HOD’s Address by Dr. Sulakshana Vispute, HoD MCA department and Introductions to MCA department by MCA faculty
- HOD’s Address by Dr. Rahul Wadekar, HoD MMS department and Introductions to MMS department by MMS faculty
- Placement Committee Overview by Dr. Girish Jadhav, Prof. Ganesh Bhagwat, Dr. Ruchi Gupta
- Presentations from the Administration and Library Departments

Both sessions concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Shreya Bhamare.
The event provided a valuable platform for parents to engage with the academic and professional development initiatives at NMITD, fostering stronger collaboration to support student growth.
