CPR Training Program for Students and Staff Members

A comprehensive Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training Program was successfully conducted on 16th December 2025 from 10:00 am onwards for the students and staff members of MCA and MMS. The session was organized by Saifee Hospital in association with the Indian Resuscitation Council Foundation, with the aim of equipping participants with essential life-saving skills.

The training was conducted by Dr. Tasneem Dhansura and Ms. Meenal Chikhale, whose expertise, clarity of instruction, and professional approach ensured an engaging and effective learning experience. The session focused on the importance of timely intervention during cardiac and respiratory emergencies and emphasized the role of trained individuals in saving lives.

The program was well structured, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical demonstrations. Participants were trained in CPR techniques using mannequins, enabling them to practice chest compressions and understand emergency response protocols. Interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions further enhanced participant involvement and understanding.

As a result of the training, participants gained a clear understanding of CPR procedures and emergency response measures. The hands-on approach significantly improved their confidence in performing CPR and helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-life application. The session also strengthened awareness about the crucial role of bystanders in responding effectively during medical emergencies.

Overall, the CPR training proved to be an informative and impactful initiative, contributing significantly to enhancing awareness, preparedness, and life-saving skills among both students and staff members. Such initiatives play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety and responsibility within the institution.
