The Department of MCA at DES’s NMITD successfully organized a highly engaging Panel Discussion on Industry Trends & Placements on Saturday, 14th February 2026. The session aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by providing students with first-hand insights from accomplished professionals.
The distinguished panel comprised:
- Mr. Shaibaaz Shaikh – Application Development Team Lead, Accenture
- Ms. Jayanti Lakhote – Assistant Manager, TCS
- Mr. Vinit Zanje – Senior Architect, JIO
The panelists shared valuable perspectives on emerging trends in the IT industry, evolving recruitment practices, and the technical as well as soft skills required to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
