International Conference on Management & Technology 2026 Successfully conducted at NMITD

Deccan Education Society’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD) and Smt. Jayshree Sharadchandra Kothari Business School, in association with the University of Mumbai, successfully inaugurated the International Conference on Management & Technology 2026 (INCMAT “26”) on 25th April 2026.

The conference was organized around the inspiring theme:
“New Horizons: Integrating AI, Business, and Sustainable Future”, focusing on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping business innovation and sustainable development.

The inaugural session was graced by distinguished dignitaries and industry leaders.

Guest of Honour, Mr. Nitin Pangam, Chief Executive Officer, Maeflower Consulting Pvt. Ltd., emphasized how AI is revolutionizing industries and highlighted the growing importance of practical skills, problem-solving abilities, and continuous upskilling for students and professionals.

Keynote Speaker, Mr. Harshawardhan Honmode, Chief Information Officer, The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., shared valuable insights on real-world AI applications. He stressed the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry while encouraging innovation and lifelong learning.

As part of the International Conference on Management and Technology 2026 (INCMAT “26”), the conference tracks were conducted successfully with active participation from researchers, academicians, and students.

The conference provided an excellent platform for presenting innovative research aligned with the theme “New Horizons: Integrating AI, Business, and Sustainable Future.” Participants presented their research papers across various management and technology domains, contributing valuable insights and scholarly discussions.

The session was chaired by Dr. Vidya Prakash Hattangadi, Professor at Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Management Studies, who served as the Session Chair. She carefully evaluated the presented research papers, provided valuable feedback, and encouraged participants to pursue impactful and industry-relevant research.

The paper presentation sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation, thoughtful discussions, and academic exchange among presenters and attendees. The quality of research and innovative ideas reflected the conference’s objective of promoting excellence in research and industry-academia collaboration.

The Best Research Paper Award was proudly presented to Ms. Isha Narwekar in recognition of her outstanding research contribution and excellent presentation during the conference session.

The institute extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rasika Mallya Madam, Director, NMITD & Life Member, Deccan Education Society (DES); Dr. M. B. The inaugural session highlighted the significance of AI-driven business transformation and sustainable practices, setting the stage for insightful technical sessions, impactful research discussions, and collaborative academic engagement throughout the conference.
