Parent–Teacher Meet 

DES’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD) hosted a Parent–Teacher Meet on 29th August 2026 for the Second Year MMS & MCA Batch 2025–2027.

The meet provided a meaningful platform for interaction between parents and faculty, with discussions focusing on academic progress, ongoing academic activities, learning initiatives, attendance, pre-placement sessions, placement opportunities, and the expectations of parents in supporting students’ overall development.

The programme commenced with Vande Mataram, followed by a warm welcome by Prof. Pritam Warke. A video presentation provided an overview of the institute’s activities and initiatives. The Heads of Department of MCA and MMS addressed the parents and highlighted important academic aspects and student development initiatives.

The placement-related session was addressed by Mr. Ganesh Sir and Dr. Girish Sir, who discussed the institute’s placement policy, placement efforts, and the role and response of students towards placement activities. Mrs. Swapna and Ms. Neeti further updated the parents on students’ attendance and the pre-placement sessions being conducted by the institute. The Astha team also interacted with the parents and shared relevant inputs.

The programme concluded with an address by the Director, who emphasized the importance of parents’ support and cooperation in strengthening students’ participation in placement and career-development activities. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Renuka Savant, followed by the Rashtrageet.

The Parent–Teacher Meet served as an important platform for strengthening communication between parents and the institute and reaffirming the collective commitment towards students’ academic, professional, and overall growth.

Because education becomes stronger when Parents + Faculty + Students move forward together. 🎓
