Placement Orientation for MCA & MMS Semester III Students
Deccan Education Society’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology & Development (NMITD) successfully conducted a Placement Orientation Session for the MCA Semester III on 11th June 2026 at 2:30 PM and for the MMS Semester III students on 11th July in the 0.8 Auditorium, DES Mumbai Campus.
The orientation session marked the commencement of the students’ placement journey and aimed to familiarize them with the placement process, expectations, and opportunities available during the academic year. Students were introduced to the Placement Committee, its roles and responsibilities, and the various training programmes and activities planned to enhance their employability, technical competencies, soft skills, and overall career readiness.
The session was addressed by Dr. Rasika Mallya, In-charge Director, who motivated students to approach the placement process with dedication, discipline, and confidence. Members of the Placement Committee also interacted with the students, providing valuable guidance on placement preparation, industry expectations, and the importance of active participation in the institute’s pre-placement initiatives.
The interactive orientation encouraged students to take full advantage of the training and development opportunities offered by the institute, laying a strong foundation for a successful and rewarding placement season.
